About Us

After 3 years living in an RV it is time for us to find a permanent place to call home. We returned to Arizona and plan on finding a place near Flagstaff. Hopefully a few acres with or without a house already on it. We would like to add a couple of small cabins.
We enjoy the outdoors and all 4 seasons. We like to do things togetger and often take car trips locally and not so locally. We have also been bitten by a mad geo-caching bug, and go out a few times each month to do some geo-caching. We like camping, hiking, fishing, etc.

We have 4 dogs that come with us almost everywhere we go. Napoleon (Nappy) is an 15 year old Giant Pom, Cadence (Kitty) is Alaskan Klee Kai, Nicholas (Nicky) is a mix breed puppy born in June 2011, and Heidi is our big cuddly bear. She is a border collie mix born late 2011. We also live with 2 cats. Gracie, and Midget. They are all 100% indoor cats, and enjoy life very much, doing nothing but eating, sleeping and teasing the dogs.

Mom is an artist, Dad works is assistant manager at an auto parts store, and Ben is 15 years old, and attend high school with CAVA.

Since coming back to AZ we have been living at motels. It is really not fun with a 15 year old, 4 dogs and 2 cats. We try to spend as little time as possible in the motel room, and do all our cooking on a small gas grill on local picnic grounds. We have all our stuff in storage locally, and were lucky enough to find one that we can access 24/7.
I can still do my crochet, knitting, etc in the van while Rudy is at work. Ben spends a lot of hours at the local libraries doing his school work and chatting with his friends on the internet. Ben also spends time at the comic book store socializing with kids and young adults.
It is not as bad as it sounds, and we know that it is not forever and we look forward to finding our own place and space.

We will get there. We ARE Working on Great!

Until we find our new home this will be a venue for sharing ideas, post links to great resources, and possibly a few posts about our life living out of a motel room and a minivan.
